Batang Ai, 1 October 2023 - Regenerative X has proudly inaugurated its first community-centric initiative program, aiming to empower the local communities of Batang Ai Lubok Antu. This endeavor is accomplished with esteemed support from Environmental Sustainability Governance (ESG) Malaysia, E-Novation Solution Sdn Bhd, and ME Info Media Sdn Bhd, in conjunction with representatives from Sarawak Forestry and the community youth leader Mr Surai Abell. The program primarily focuses on addressing pressing global issues such as climate change and its impacts, food security, and sustainable, innovative solutions. It has been a hub of knowledge, collaboration, and mutual growth, fostering discussions and plans to combat environmental challenges.
Throughout the program, various community activities enriched the experience and reinforced the commitment to environmental stewardship. Activities included nature walks, informative climate change awareness talks and ESG briefings, tree planting sessions, and heartwarming gestures such as sharing used clothes and toys with the longhouse community. These activities raised awareness and fostered resilience and community cohesion for a sustainable future.

A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was also signed between the Regenerative X Association and Environmental Sustainability Governance (ESG), solidifying a commitment to shared goals and collaborative endeavors.

Prestly Ng, the President of Regenerative X, concluded the program with expressions of gratitude and appreciation directed towards Tuai Rumah Brown and TS. Bryan Paul, Council Member & Director for East Malaysia, ESG Malaysia. He emphasized that the successful conduct of the program is not the end but rather the commencement of a journey. He voiced hope that the initiative will continue to garner support and contribution from various quarters, enhancing its impact against climate change.
