Batang Ai, 1 October 2023 - Regenerative X has proudly inaugurated its first community-centric initiative program, aiming to empower the local communities of Batang Ai Lubok Antu. This endeavor is accomplished with esteemed support from Environmental Sustainability Governance (ESG) Malaysia, E-Novation Solution Sdn Bhd, and ME Info Media Sdn Bhd, in conjunction with representatives from Sarawak Forestry and the community youth leader Mr Surai Abell. The program primarily focuses on addressing pressing global issues such as climate change and its impacts, food security, and sustainable, innovative solutions. It has been a hub of knowledge, collaboration, and mutual growth, fostering discussions and plans to combat environmental challenges.

A significant highlight of the program was the Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) session between the local cooperative and company. This agreement marked the beginning of a synergistic relationship aimed at exploring and developing opportunities in carbon credit research, trading, and development, agroforestry, eco-tourism, education and awareness workshop. This collaboration is poised to elevate the economy of Batang Ai, Lubok Antu, with a visionary plan to leverage the Native Customary Rights (NCR) land, spanning approximately 10,000 hectares.
Following the MoA was a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the Regenerative X Association and Environmental Sustainability Governance (ESG), solidifying a commitment to shared goals and collaborative endeavors.

Prestly Ng, the President of Regenerative X, concluded the program with expressions of gratitude and appreciation directed towards TR Brown and TS. Bryan Paul, Council Member & Director for East Malaysia, ESG Malaysia. He emphasized that the successful conduct of the program is not the end but rather the commencement of a journey. He voiced hope that the initiative will continue to garner support and contribution from various quarters, enhancing its impact against climate change.
