How to participate?

Entry

Participants must fill in the entry form and provide their content on the SarawakFocus website BEFORE 11:59 pm 31 September 2022.

File Format

The filename must be according to this format: [content article]_NRIC.

Attachment

All submissions must include photos & a write-up about the content by the author himself.

Language

The content must be in English or Bahasa Melayu.

Rules & Regulation

Please fill in the complete personal information on the submit form. The eligibility and notification of the prize are mainly based on the personal data uploaded. The content must be in ENGLISH or BAHASA MELAYU.
Participants must be Malaysian. Open for Sarawakians only.
The participant must be the copyright owner of the photo and content. If there are any copyright disputes, the participant must be responsible for their legal responsibilities. The organizer will not intervene on behalf of the participant.
The participants must grant the organizer the right to publish and promote the photos and articles on the organizer's respective websites or social media.
Entries should not be publicly published (the definition of "published": print publication, public exhibition, and other award-winning works of art competitions; but does not include blogs, personal Websites, Facebook and other social media sites’ stickers, and internal publications of the society publish encouraging and free works.)
Entries must conform to the event theme and specifications of the event; violators shall be deemed to have waived, and the organizer will not notify otherwise.
Participants should respect the views of the judging panel and have no objection to the results of the judging. The entries that do not meet the standards recognized by the judging committee will not be eligible for the award.
The prizes of this event will not be replaced with other prizes, transferred, or exchanged for cash. In the event of factors that are not attributable to the organizer, the organizer may change to other equivalent awards. The winner agrees that the organizer shall not be responsible for all the results after receiving or using the prize.
The legal liability for copyright infringement is the responsibility of the contestant and has nothing to do with the organizer.
The organizer reserves the right to explain, change and supplement the content of this entry method, rules, and award descriptions at any time. If the event cannot be carried out due to force majeure, the organizer reserves the right to decide to terminate, change or suspend this event, and reserves the right to modify the event and formally set content rights.
